home again, home again
Friday, July 30, 2010 at 1:47PM jiggety-jig. Yep, we're home. We made it; 2 girlies, a dad, a considerably pregnant mom and all of our gear successfully nagivated the air travel system to and from western Pennsylvania and with surprisingly very little stress. The girls were awesome travelers. David and I had plenty of time to read and relax on both flights. Everyone at the airport in Phoenix and Pittsburgh including the flight crew was very helpful.
The girls had a great time in the country and I've squeezed a month's worth of photos into 8 short days. I'll be posting them over the upcoming days. In the meantime I'm posting this one.

We spent a day in Pittsburgh visiting our dear friends Chris and Jessica. We always enjoy our visits with the Lauschs but this time was extra special. This was the first time we met their sweet boy, Evan. His bright blonde curls and his crystal blue eyes combined with his extreme squishiness make him irresistible. He just turned 1 and he's only a pound lighter than Elise. He's a chunka' love! The girls were instantly smitten. Evan was sleeping when we arrived and they waited patiently for him to wake up. As soon as he was awake they took their seats on the couch made room for him in the middle. Watching the girls cuddle him felt like a glimpse into our future. Hopefully our little guy will be as accomodating as Evan.
Hope everyone is enjoying the last few days of July!
