Monday, March 8, 2010 at 5:39PM The past week has been full of indulgence and special days. My oldest turned 5 on Wednesday and we kicked off the week with a family celebration on Saturday. Dinner at Kate's favorite Mexican restaurant followed by delicious cake. The week just got better and better, visits with friends, Kate's big day on Wednesday and more friends on Thursday. I ended the week on a high note with a short road trip to Puerto Peñasco. I managed to sneak in 3 days and 2 nights of relaxation with two of my dearest friends. We ate yummy snacks, watched movies and spent our afternoons soaking up sun on the beach. Such a rare and special treat. Thanks to Hallie and Alex for 22 years of friendship and an extra big Thank You to my husband for holding down the fort while I was away.
Thank you to all of our sweet friends, aunts, cousins, uncles and grandparents for the birthday wishes. You made Kate feel very special!
