Friday, August 21, 2009 at 5:28PM It seems just yesterday that I was staring down an entire summer break of brutal outdoor temperatures and two stir crazy prone children. What on earth were we going to do ALL summer? I'm happy to say we managed just fine, we filled our days with trampolines & popsicles, playdoh & fingerpaints, splashpads & sunscreen, legos & polly pockets and best of all playdates with our favorite people.
Although the summer weather will be with us for a while, today was our last day of summer break. We spent our last day doing all of the things we love. Up early and off to visit friends, home for lunch and legos and then a trip to the library with more friends. We even managed a trip to the grocery store and story time on the couch. It was a good day. So it's time to say a fond farewell to summer.
Next week starts a new adventure for the girls. New teachers, new faces and new friends to be made. I've got some fun stuff coming up too so stay tuned!

Totally love the 2nd last picture... Reminds me about my little sis when she still on pacifier and love to crayons all books that she could grab....=)
