catching up

The holiday rush is coming to a close and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm starting to catch up on all of the personal photos, emails and phone calls that I've been neglecting.  I can't believe I'm reaching all the way back to October for my first batch.  Elise turned two on the 20th; we spent a lovely afternoon at the park with friends enjoying good food and yummy cake.  A week later it was time to take her to the doctor for her BIG GIRL well check. 

I have to say we have the best pediatrician.  He's always there to return calls, calls to check in with us when the girls aren't well and always leaves them laughing at their appointments.  If any of you are in the east valley and need a good doc check out East Valley Children's Center.  We see Dr. Curran but my sister's kids see Dr. Aaron and they're both great!  Dr. Curran was psyched to see the camera, he didn't even wait for me to ask for a photo. He grabbed Elle and struck a pose, how awesome is he?! Here's a glimpse of our last visit. 

Side note:  Each exam room has a different theme painted on 3 of the walls.  The fourth is one is a solid vibrant color - so perfect for photos.  What's even better is that it was Elle's idea to pose in front of the blue wall.  She seemed very proud of herself for pointing it out to me and posed several times until she felt it was adequately documented.
