November already? | Phoenix Family Photographer

I'm in complete denial that in two months we'll have run through the entire holiday season and I'll be writing 2010 on my checks.  Actually I'll still be writing 2009, I'll just have to go back and scratch it out or start all over.  Either way, I'm amazed at how quickly this year has gone.  I know it sounds cliche but I guess it's true, time flies when you're having fun.

Speaking of fun this weekend was packed full of it.  I love it when holidays like Halloween fall on a Saturday.  The girls dressed up and had a great time walking around the neighborhood.  A friend of mine had a fabulous idea. Her girls collect candy for The Great Pumpkin, then he takes their candy and leaves them a toy.  I think she's nothing short of a genius. We asked The Great Pumpkin to visit our house this year and our girls loved it.  He'll definitely be invited back again!  Elise dressed up as a cow, Kate was Tinkerbell and their cousin, Ethan, was Hancock.

There was more fun the next day when I met this gorgeous group at the park.  It seems like just yesterday I did a series of photos of these sweet kids, their cousins and their grandma. It was July and extremely hot & sticky.  This was the complete opposite because the weather was gorgeous but Cassie and Connor were still as sweet as ever!

Michele - I love these. I want more.... this is just a teaser :). Just kidding! I am looking forward to seeing the rest though. Thanks so much! Rochelle

Greta Halloween shot (and beautiful family, too) - but I'm a bit sad to realize this must mean Mads is too old to dress up already. Wow. (And she may have been too old for a while now, huh?)
